Matthew + Pedro

matthew: we're all curators now. even if one thing is drastically different from the next, we find beauty in it.

pedro: the american way of building is quick

matthew: everything in america is quick

matthew: there’s a beauty behind the struggle for someone who doesn’t have the resources, and has to create something from nothing. it can be a more powerful thing.

pedro: art nowadays is becoming super product [oriented], and art must have the same shape, the same color always, to be easier to recognize, easier to sell, and I think our [upcoming show] is the opposite of this, you must view your art as a diary you are expressing using different techniques and showing your time, your life. the idea is, I have a stamp that I use for my work, but the idea is you cannot recognize a lot that comes from the same artist.

the idea is to experiment.
